MicroSD Tool for PrintrBots by Big-E

Watch the video and see how it works!
Special thanks to user in_the_garage for inspiring the creation of this tool.
Edit to add: If you have a hard time grabbing those tiny Micro SD cards to pull them out of the slot, even if you can access it, this will also come in handy!
The tool is small, so it will finish quickly, even with solid fill and thin layers 🙂
There are three versions:
*microsd_tool_for_printrbot_Long.stl – A longer, easy to use version; This is my preferred version.
*microsd_tool_for_printrbot.stl – Short version, may be left on the card while printing, but more fidgety to insert the card.
*microsd_tool_Supports.stl _ Same as the long version, but with Helper squares added to help keep the part on the build plate when printing. Simply tear off the support squares when done printing.
To use:
Insert MicroSD card into the groove at the nub-end; contacts should face away from the handle. MicroSD cards will easily slide in and out of the tool. There is only one end of the groove open, so slide the card from the open end, and push until it stops at the closed end.
Using tool, insert the card into the slot. slide the tool up and off the card once inserted. Double check to make card is fully inserted into the Micro SD slot on your board.
To remove the card, push the tool down onto the end of the card, into the slot in the tool. once card is seated in tool, pull tool away from the Micro SD slot. Remove card from tool.
Be sure to watch the video if you need to see how it’s done.
Enjoy! and let me know what you think!
