I created a minion from the movies Despicable me and the Minion Movie. While this design will not automate a task or make your life easier, it was fun for me to recreate a character from a movie. I created it because I never got the chance to create a character, I used similar software but only for architectural purposes such as buildings or homes. The tutorial helped me become familiar with the features and the way to design the actual character. It is incredible the amount of work that goes into these characters; design, rendering, lighting and the actual movement to me is interesting. This is why I attempted to make my own, to understand the complexity of design behind the characters.
