Description
The Printrbot Play is great, but that pesky cable bundle always looks like it will get hooked on the print bed. After a print of mine suspiciously appeared to shift about a centimeter in the Y direction I knew something had to be done. Seriously, life is too short to worry about something this dumb. Fix the problem forever with this!
First off, a shout out to Andy Leer who’s groundbreaking work on the legendary “Printrbot Play Cable Shelf” paved the way for the next generation of Printerbot Play cable management devices.
The “Tamer” is wide enough that the cable bundle won’t slip and fall between the bed and the base while being tall enough that it won’t rub on the bed either. Just clip it on the rear left wall of the housing and forget about it. If You’re a bit concerned that it may slide off and cause a fire or something, shim it with some paper or tape – or hot glue it in place!
Hope you like it!
